'She's back,' Baffert says as Abel Tasman leads Breeders' Cup works

Champion Abel Tasman
, recovered from recent illness attributed to her lackluster fifth-place finish in the Zenyatta Stakes (G1) back on Sept. 30, worked six furlongs Friday in company with Zenyatta winner and stablemate Vale Dori.
Both clocked in at 1:00.20. Joe Talamo was aboard Abel Tasman, while Drayden Van Dyke
rode Vale Dori.
“Both went very well,” said Bob Baffert, who has both targeting the Nov. 3 Breeders’ Cup Distaff at Churchill Downs. “Whatever Abel had, she’s over it. She’s back and I’m very happy with her.”
The possible Breeders' Cup Juvenile favorite Game Winner, another from Baffert's barn, clocked in at a snappy 47.20 seconds, soundly besting his workmate.
In other notable Santa Anita workers on Friday morning, Doug O’Neill had Classic contender Pavel breeze six furlongs in 1:14.80. Paddy Gallagher supervised a three furlong blowout for Distaff longshot La Force in 37 flat.
