She’s a Tiger, a runaway winner in her June 22 debut at Pleasanton, is the one to defeat in the Landaluce.

Owned by Mark DeDomenico LLC, Allen Aldrich, Lisa Hernandez and Stuart Downey and trained by Jeff Bonde, the half-sister to multiple graded stakes winner Smiling Tiger won by nine lengths as the 1-5 favorite against only three opponents. The final time for the five furlongs was 57.49 seconds.

The win was worth $15,650 to the daughter of Tale of the Cat and the Cahill Road mare Shandra Smiles.

South Sound was impressive in her local debut for Reddam Racing, LLC and O’Neill, defeating five rivals by 2 ½ lengths June 14.

By Stroll out of the Sultry Song mare Chosen Honor, South Sound earned $31,200 for the victory as the 19-10 favorite. O’Neill and Reddam teamed to win the 2009 Landaluce with Repo.

Reddam and O’Neill will also be represented Saturday by Perched, who finished fourth in her debut in the Lost in the Fog Stakes June 15 at Golden Gate Fields. The Into Mischief filly out of the Love Catcher mare Pine Bluff picked up $3,000 for the performance. She finished 1 ½ lengths behind winner Skydreamin, who returned to take the Everett Nevin Stakes for Bonde July 7 at Pleasanton.

Pleasant Miss and On the Backstreets, the 2-4 finishers in the Cinderella Stakes won by Sprouts June 15, return in search of their second lifetime win.

Owned by a partnership that includes Halo Farms, Mark Randall, Three Sisters Thoroughbreds and Hollendorfer, Pleasant Miss has started twice. The daughter of Pleasantly Perfect and the Tale of the Cat mare Winter Tide has banked $38,000.

The Kentucky-bred was purchased privately after she won against $50,000 maidens in her May 9 debut.

Beaten by nearly 14 lengths as the even-money favorite in the Cinderella, On the Backstreets reportedly flipped her palate in the race.

Trained by Miller for Brewer Racing Stable, David Lanzaman, Rockingham Ranch and Jason Wood, the Street Boss filly out of the Mutakddim mare Mutakaway won by 2 ¼ lengths as the 19-10 choice in her bow May 23. She’s banked $37,200.

Both Hollendorfer and Miller have won the Landaluce. The former got the money with Killer Graces in 2011 while Miller’s victory came with Pinata in 2006.

Gagaoveryou finished second behind South Sound in her initiation for The Premae Company LLC and trainer Julio Canani. The Zensational filly out of the Hennessy mare Eau de Vie earned $10,400.

Completing the Landaluce cast is E Equalsmcsquared, a daughter of Einstein and the Conquistador Cielo mare Prairie Spring.

After finishing fourth in her debut for trainer Eric Kruljac May 3 at Betfair Hollywood Park, E Equalsmcsquared shipped to Lone Star Park in Texas, blitzing $25,000 maidens by 7 ¾ lengths May 18. She’s earned $10,800 for a partnership that includes Omar Aldabbagh, Linden Hatch and Brent Stapley.

From inside out, the field for the 69th Landaluce: On the Backstreets, Joe Talamo rides, 119 pounds; E Equalsmcsquared, Mike Smith, 117; South Sound, Mario Gutierrez, 119; She’s a Tiger, Frank Alvarado, 119; Gagaoveryou, Martin Pedroza, 115; Pleasant Miss, Rafael Bejarano, 117 and Perched, Corey Nakatani, 115.
