Trained by Mario Serey Jr. She’s Hot Wired covered the six furlongs over a sloppy main track in 1:10 4/5 and paid $13.20, $4.80 and $3.20.  It was a nose back to the runner-up who completed the $64.60 exacta and paid $4.20 and $3.20.  Love Came to Town was another neck back in third, good for a $2.80 show mutuel.

“She’s such a hard-trying horse,” said winning jockey Trevor McCarthy.  “When I rode her in Philadelphia (Parx onApril 25) I was really impressed with her.  Turning for home she just kept trying and trying and finally she got there.”

A 5-year-old mare by Cable Boy from the Diablo mare Diablo’s Number, She’s Hot Wired sports a record of 5-8-12 from 35 career starts, good for earnings of $307,046.
