Sharing, winner of last year's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf for trainer Graham Motion, came away with the win in the $300,000, Grade 2 Edgewood Stakes going one mile on the turf at Churchill Downs on Oaks Day.

Ridden by Manny Franco -- who will be aboard favorite Tiz the Law in Saturday’s Kentucky Derby -- Sharing went off the heavy 3-5 favorite and she didn’t disappoint. The daughter of Speightstown tracked In Good Spirits for most of the race before taking the lead on the final turn and holding sway to win by about one length.

Owned by Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and Gainesway Stable, Sharing was a $350,000 auction purchase at the 2018 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Yearling sale. The Edgewood was the fourth stakes victory of her career and pushes hear earnings to more than $300,000.

Most recently, she finished second in the June 20 Coronation Stakes (G1) at Royal Ascot in England.

Splits for the Edgewood were :24.44, :48.76, 1:12.81 and 1:24.58. The winning time was 1:36.87. Sharing returned $3.20 for the win.
