Shancelot, Sharing lead Wednesday's graded stakes works

Grade 2 winner Shancelot, now in the Steve Asmussen barn, returned to work for the first time in 108 days as he drilled a swift four furlongs in :48.00 at Fair Grounds on Wednesday morning. The speedy sprinter is gearing up for a 2021 campaign.

Sharing, the 2019 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner worked six furlongs in 1:13.20 at Fair Hill for trainer Graham Motion. She is targeting Del Mar's Matriarch (G1) on Nov. 28 for her next start.

Jolie Olimpica (BRZ) (Drosselmeyer) a Grade 2 winner (2020 Monrovia) worked 6 furlongs in 1:13.6 at Del Mar on Wednesday morning. It was the only work at the distance. Her previous work was 9 days ago going 4 furlongs at Santa Anita Park. In her last start she placed second in the Jenny Wiley (G1) going 1 1/16 miles on the turf at Keeneland on July 11 for trainer Richard E. Mandella.

This is his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed 10th in the Elkhorn (G2) going 1 1/2 miles on the turf at Keeneland on July 12 for trainer Steve Asmussen.

Shancelot (Shanghai Bobby) a Grade 2 winner (2019 Amsterdam) worked 4 furlongs in 48.0 at Fair Grounds on Wednesday morning. It was the fifth fastest of 44 works at the distance. His previous work was 108 days ago going 5 furlongs at Churchill Downs. In his last start he placed second in the Breeders' Cup Sprint (G1) going 6 furlongs on the main track at Santa Anita Park on Nov. 2, 2019, for trainer Jorge Navarro.

Chaos Theory (Curlin) a Grade 3 winner (2020 Green Flash H.) worked 4 furlongs in 48.2 at Santa Anita Park on Wednesday morning. It was the third fastest of 33 works at the distance. His previous work was 11 days ago going 4 furlongs at Keeneland.
