Shadwell Turf Mile 2018: Post positions, odds and more
Nearly every horse entered in Saturday's Grade 1, $1 million Shadwell Turf Mile at Keeneland is a previous graded stakes winner, and that's saying something in a full field of 14. It's a tremendous wagering opportunity and the headliner to a final weekend of prep races for the Breeders' Cup.
Heart to Heart, who won the Maker's 46 Mile (G1) over this surface in April, is a tepid morning line favorite, but the front-runner figures to receive pressure from Voodoo Song, another well-known pace setter.
If the pace melts down, there are contenders of all types waiting to pounce, including Analyze It, another previous Keeneland winner both cutting back in distance and facing older horses for the first time. Oh, and he's trained by Chad Brown, who never seems too far from the winner's circle for a big turf race.
