Judging by Las Vegas futures odds for the 2022 Kentucky Derby, the Fountain of Youth has the strongest field of the three 50-point preps this weekend.

The Grade 2 contest at Gulfstream Park is joined Saturday on the Road to the Kentucky Derby by the San Felipe (G2) at Santa Anita and the Gotham (G3) at Aqueduct. Entries for the first to have been drawn; the Gotham will be drawn on Wednesday.

The tables below show the best odds available from either Caesars Sportsbook at William Hill Nevada or Circa Sports for the likely runners in the three races.

Although Las Vegas futures are not a perfect barometer, they offer insight to how bettors are thinking. For horses not listed, the two Las Vegas racebooks could add them this week.

The Pletcher pair carry the shortest prices of any of the runners in this week's qualifiers. Emmanuel is 2-for-2 and trying his first stakes. Mo Donegal is 4: 2-0-2 and finished third last out in the Holy Bull (G3).

Forbidden Kingdom is an American Pharoah colt who won the San Vicente (G2) last out. Bob Baffert has two entered here but they are ineligible to receive Kentucky Derby qualifying points because of Baffert's suspension, which is the subject of litigation. If a Baffert runner finishes in the top four, those points would be vacated.
