The Todd Pletcher-trained colt Annapolis is out of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf with a hind ankle chip, Daily Racing Form reported Friday.

Annapolis won Belmont Park's Grade 2 Pilgrim Stakes on Oct. 3 to improve to 2-for-2 in his career, setting him up as a top Juvenile Turf contender. Pletcher trains the War Front colt for owner-breeder Perry Bass II.
