Saturday's Rainbow 6 Pool Guaranteed at $125,000

Gulfstream's 20-cent Rainbow 6 will have a guaranteed pool of $125,000 Saturday.

The six-race sequence, which begins with the sixth race, will include the $75,000 Groomstick, two turf races and a maiden special weight and maiden claiming race.

The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

There were multiple winning tickets Friday in the Rainbow 6. Tickets with the winning numbers 6-3-3-2-3-11 returned $8,494.44.    

There will also be a Super Hi 5 carryover on Saturday's last race of $3,557.23.

Apprentice jockey Harry Hernandez, who won 103 races before being sidelined Aug. 28 with a non-displaced fracture of the left wrist, has been cleared to resume riding, according to agent Bryce Soth.

Hernandez, a Puerto Rican native who graduated from the acclaimed jockey school Escuela Vocacional Hipica in December, was injured when he was unseated aboard Starship Muffy during a turf race. Prior to his injury, Hernandez's mounts had earned $1.89 million.
