Friday’s Del Mar Recap  – August 9 (Day 19)

Polytrack seemed to play fair with a 5.5f wire job to end the card. The two turf sprints were nabbed by a front runner and a presser, and the 9f turf route was taken by a stalker (turf rail at 7 feet).

Rafael Bejarano, Martin Garcia, and Mario Gutierrez each booted home a pair.

On the ticket front I tabbed three Primary (Olympic Blue, Gallant Gent, Rockin Girl) winners and two Secondary (Easy Topper, Beautiful spirit) winners.
