Saturday works: 34 graded-stakes winners include Casa Creed

Casa Creed, a four-time Grade 1 winner who most recently finished third behind Master of the Seas in the Breeders' Cup Mile, worked a sharp four furlongs at Payson Park on Saturday. The 8-year-old horse, trained by 2023 Eclipse Award winner Bill Mott, covered the distance in 48.4 seconds. That was the third-fastest of 66 moves over the course and distance.

Mott has not committed to a first start of the year for Casa Creed, though according to a BloodHorse report he was nominated to the 1351 Turf Sprint (G2) on the Saudi Cup (G1) card. Casa Creed has finished second in the 1351 Turf Sprint in each of the last two years.
