Saturday workouts: 22 graded-stakes winners are on U.S. tab

Grade 1 winner Anisette, who finished second last out Nov. 5 in the Autumn Miss (G3), returned to the work tab with a five-furlong breeze Saturday at Del Mar.

The Great Britain-bred, 3-year-old filly trained by Leonard Powell was clocked at 1:02.2. Powell has not declared where the Del Mar Oaks (G1) victor may start next.

There were 22 graded-stakes winners on the U.S. work tab Saturday.

Anisette (Awtaad), a Grade 1 winner (2023 Del Mar Oaks), worked five furlongs in 1:02.2 at Santa Anita on Saturday morning. It was the 21st fastest of 27 works at the distance. Her previous work was seven days ago going four furlongs at Santa Anita. In her last start she placed second in the Autumn Miss (G3) going one mile on the turf at Santa Anita on Nov. 5 for trainer Leonard Powell.

Agate Road (Quality Road), a Grade 2 winner (2023 Pilgrim), worked four furlongs in 53.7 seconds on turf at Palm Beach Downs. It was the slowest of 11 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed fifth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf going one mile on the turf at Santa Anita on Nov. 3 for trainer Todd Pletcher.

Chatalas (Gun Runner), a Grade 2 winner (2023 Chandelier), worked five furlongs in 1:00.6 at Santa Anita. It was the eighth fastest of 27 works at the distance. Her previous work was eight days ago going four furlongs at Santa Anita. In her last start she placed ninth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Santa Anita on Nov. 3 for trainer Mark Glatt.

Long Range Toddy (Take Charge Indy), a Grade 2 winner (2019 Rebel), worked five furlongs in 1:02.8 at Gulfstream Park. It was the 13th fastest of 14 works at the distance. His previous work was 21 days ago going five furlongs at Gulfstream Park. In his last start he won a handicap going one mile on the main track at Gulfstream Park on Aug. 26 for trainer Victor Barboza.

Nolde (Pioneerof the Nile), a Grade 2 winner (2019 Del Mar Derby), worked four furlongs in 49.4 seconds at Golden Gate Fields. It was the 19th fastest of 69 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he won a starter allowance race going one mile on the synthetic at Golden Gate Fields on Nov. 19 for trainer Steve Sherman.

None Above the Law (Karakontie), a Grade 2 winner (2021 Del Mar Derby), worked four furlongs in 47.6 seconds at San Luis Rey. It was the fastest of 33 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed fourth in the Cary Grant going seven furlongs on the main track at Del Mar on Nov. 18 for trainer Peter Miller.

O’Connor (Boboman), a Grade 2 winner (2023 Fayette), worked three furlongs in 40.0 seconds at Palm Meadows. It was the 38th fastest of 43 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he won the Fayette (G2) going 1 1/8 miles on the main track at Keeneland on Oct. 28 for trainer Saffie Joseph Jr.

Temple (Temple City), a Grade 2 winner (2022 Mac Diarmida), worked five furlongs in 1:02.2 at Turfway Park. It was the 49th fastest of 62 works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago going five furlongs at Turfway Park. In his last start he placed eighth in the Colonial Cup going 1 1/2 miles on the turf at Colonial Downs on Sept. 9 for trainer Mike Maker.

Turnerloose (Nyquist), a Grade 2 winner (2022 Rachel Alexandra), worked five furlongs in 1:00.2 at Del Mar. It was the fastest of three works at the distance. Her previous work was seven days ago going four furlongs at Del Mar. In her last start she placed fifth in the Kathryn Crosby going one mile on the turf at Del Mar on Nov. 11 for trainer Phil D’Amato.

Packs a Wahlop (Creative Cause), a two-time Grade 3 winner (2022 Zuma Beach, 2022 Del Mar Juvenile Turf), worked five furlongs in 1:00.2 at Turfway Park. It was the third fastest of 62 works at the distance. His previous work was eight days ago going four furlongs at Turfway Park. In his last start he placed 10th in the Twilight Derby (G2) going 1 1/8 miles on the turf at Santa Anita on Nov. 4 for trainer Jeff Mullins.

Butterbean (Klimt), a Grade 3 winner (2022 Iowa Oaks), worked four furlongs in 50.4 seconds at Oaklawn. It was the 61st fastest of 132 works at the distance. Clear Vision (Artie Schiller), a Grade 3 winner (2022 Tropical Turf), worked four furlongs in 48.1 seconds at Gulfstream Park. It was the fifth fastest of 91 works at the distance. That’s Right (Goldencents), a Grade 3 winner (2022 Turf Monster), worked three furlongs in 36.8 seconds at Parx Racing. It was the second fastest of four works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed ninth in the Wolf Hill going 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf at Monmouth Park on July 22 for trainer Michael Moore.

War At Sea (War Front), a Grade 3 winner (2023 Golden Gate Handicap), worked five furlongs in 1:00.0 at Santa Anita. It was the third fastest of 27 works at the distance. His previous work was six days ago going four furlongs at Santa Anita. In his last start he won the Golden Gate Handicap (G3) going 1 1/16 miles on the synthetic at Golden Gate Fields on Nov. 4 for trainer Ron Ellis.

West Saratoga (Exaggerator), a Grade 3 winner (2023 Iroquois), worked four furlongs in 48.4 seconds at The Thoroughbred Center. It was the third fastest of 37 works at the distance. His previous work was 14 days ago going five furlongs at The Thoroughbred Center. In his last start he placed fifth in the Breeders’ Futurity (G1) going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Keeneland on Oct. 7 for trainer Larry Demeritte.

Whelen Springs (Street Sense), a Grade 3 winner (2023 Philip H. Iselin), worked four furlongs in 50.2 seconds at Oaklawn. It was the 53rd fastest of 132 works at the distance.
