Santa Anita Recap – Friday, October 3, 2014

A pair of two turn wire jobs (8f, 8.5f) on the fast main track. A pace player and a mid-pack stalker won the two downhill turf sprints, and the flat mile turf race was nabbed by a patient type (rail at 24 feet).

Mario Gutierrez, Mike Smith, and apprentice Drayden Van Dyke each booted home a pair.
