Horse Racing Nation's Andrew Capone is hitting the backside all summer to talk to connections at Saratoga.

In this report, he catches up with trainers Shug McGaughey and Jose Camejo. He also speaks with Mark Phillips and Brian Duggan, two farriers who shoe horses trained by Chad Brown.

McGaughey discusses his plans for graded-stakes winners First Captain and Kathleen O. He also introduces some of the most promising 2-year-olds in his barn this year.

Camejo talks about his hot start to the Saratoga meet, as well as how the claiming game differs at Saratoga compared to other racetracks. He checks in with his recent stakes winner High Limit Room and explains the appeal of campaigning New York-breds like him. Camejo also highlights some exciting juveniles in his shedrow.

Phillips and Duggan talk about their careers in horse racing, and what they did before becoming farriers. Phillips also discusses some of the considerations they have to make when shoeing horses, and how busy the Brown barn keeps them.
