Horse Racing Nation's Andrew Capone is hitting the backside this summer to talk to connections at Saratoga.

In the latest Morning Report, he hits the backside to talk to trainers Mark Hennig and Phil Serpe plus New York Racing Association starter Hector Soler.

Soler is a man who loves his job as a starter. He explains how he got into the business, how the starter team works and the importance of gate schooling.

Hennig updates on Mashnee Girl, entered in Friday's Union Avenue Handicap at Saratoga. Among his 2-year-olds, he singled out Spinning Colors, who broke her maiden in her debut Wednesday at the Spa.

Serpe also has a runner in the Union Avenue, Bank on Anna, who has a 5: 3-0-1 record this year. He explains why her earlier start at Saratoga was troubled. Leave No Trace is a 2-year-old filly in his barn who won her first start – Serpe updates on what her next start might be.
