Saratoga video: Morning Report with McPeek, Amoss, McCarthy

Horse Racing Nation's Andrew Capone will be hitting the backside all summer to talk to connections at Saratoga.

In this report, he talks to trainers Kenny McPeek and Tom Amoss, as well as Jockey Trevor McCarthy.

McPeek discusses what he has worked on with Classic Causeway between his Belmont Derby (G1) victory and Saturday's Saratoga Derby (G1). He also shares his thoughts on how the Classic Causeway will handle the shorter distance and the turf after the week's rain.

McCarthy tells how he decided to become a jockey, and what it is like both coming from a horse racing family and marrying into another one. He also discusses his relationship with his agent, Joe Migliore.

Amoss checks in with Promise of Hope, an impressive Churchill Downs maiden winner who stretches out Sunday in the Adirondack (G3). Amoss also shares his thoughts about the field sizes in stakes races at Saratoga this summer.
