Horse Racing Nation's Andrew Capone will be hitting the backside all summer to talk to connections at Saratoga.

In this report, he talks to apprentice jockey Jose Gomez and trainers Natalia Lynch and Michelle Nevin.

Gomez looks back on his road to becoming a jockey. He also talks about what he does to prepare before riding races in the afternoons, and some of his favorite horses he has ridden so far.

Lynch updates on how Eloquent Speaker is doing into Friday's Union Avenue Handicap, and discusses the jockey change to Tyler Gaffalione for that race.

Nevin checks in with 8-year-old My Boy Tate, who returns from a layoff in the John Morrissey Handicap on Friday.
