The two-day double will be offered on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 6 and 7, and features the middle legs of the Turf Triple Series with the $1 million Saratoga Derby Invitational (G1) on Saturday and the $700,000 Saratoga Oaks Invitational (G3) on Sunday. The base wager is $1 with an 18.5 percent takeout.

Two-day Pick 6

This wager will be offered twice during the Saratoga meet: on Friday, Aug. 26, for New York-bred Showcase Day and Saturday, Aug. 27, for Travers Stakes (G1) day; and again on Sunday, Sept. 4, which features the Spinaway (G1) through Monday, Sept. 5 to close out the meet with the Hopeful (G1). The base wager is 20 cents with a takeout of 15 percent.

Cross Country Pick 5

The Cross County Pick 5, which has been on the wagering menu on Saturdays throughout the 2022 meetings at Belmont Park and Aqueduct Racetrack, will continue to be offered on most Saturdays at Saratoga, plus on three Sundays – Aug. 7,  14 and 21. This wager will not be available on the Travers Day card on Saturday, Aug. 27. A cross-breed sequence will be offered on Sat., Aug. 6, in conjunction with the standardbred card on Hambletonian Day at Meadowlands Racetrack. The base wager is 50 cents with a 15 percent takeout.

NYRA Triple Play
This Pick 3 wager with a $3 bet minimum and a takeout rate of 19 percent was introduced at this year’s spring/summer meet at Belmont Park. The NYRA Triple Play will feature three selected races every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Saratoga.

The first opportunity to bet a Triple Play will occur with an all-turf sequence on Friday’s card, including the co-featured Coronation Cup and Grade 3 Forbidden Apple. The other leg will be Race 5 on the card, a $35,000 claiming race at 1 1/16th mile.

The 40-day summer meet at Saratoga will see at least one stakes race per racing day with 77 total stakes worth a combined $22.6 million, highlighted by the Travers Stakes for 3-year-olds, one of six graded stakes on tap for the lucrative card.
