Saratoga: Can She Feels Pretty extend win streak in Diana?
She Feels Pretty headlines the Grade 1, $500,000 Diana Stakes on Saturday, featuring a compact but star-studded field of six fillies and mares competing at 1 1/8 miles on the Saratoga turf. The race was originally carded for the inner turf, but moved to the outer on Saturday morning.
The Diana has been one of the premier races for older females on the grass, and this year's renewal brings together top-class competition as some of the nation's top turf performers converge at the Spa.
She Feels Pretty has a four-race winning streak for trainer Cherie DeVaux. The 4-year-old daughter of Karakontie has been perfect in 2025, winning both of her starts while banking more than $650,000 in earnings. Her most recent triumph came in the New York (G1) at Saratoga, with a commanding performance that established her as the favorite.
Her biggest threat may come from Dynamic Pricing, Chad Brown's filly who captured the Just A Game (G1) at Saratoga in her most recent outing. The 4-year-old has never finished worse than third dating back to the Lake Placid (G2) in August 2024. Brown also sends Excellent Truth, the Ireland-bred mare who finished runner-up in both the Just A Game (G1) and Jenny Wiley (G1) at Keeneland after a solid campaign in France.
The international flavor continues with Choisya, the 5-year-old mare who won the Jenny Wiley for trainer Simon Crisford after impressive victories in Dubai earlier this year.
The rest of the field includes Lady Claypoole, who took the Santa Ana Stakes (G3) and finished second in the Gamely Stakes (G1) for trainer Richard Baltas, giving her solid graded-stakes form heading into this assignment.
Recent Gamely (G1) winner Be Your Best was scratched Saturday.
The Diana (G1) is race 11, post time 6:14 p.m. EDT.
Coverage of Saratoga, on Saratoga Live, begins at 12:30 p.m. EDT on FS2.

Super Screener's Mike Shutty picks the Bowling Green (G2) over Diana (G1) for the better payout opportunity.
"Great to see trainer Todd Pletcher give El Rezeem some time off after a big effort, and he should be ready to move forward again on an ideal surface," Shutty says referencing El Rezeem's two-for-two record on the inner course at Saratoga. "He'll be reserved 3-5 lengths off the pace, reserving his stamina early before continuing on with a sustained bid."
