Entries were taken Sunday at Santa Anita for an eight-race card on Thursday, with first post time at 3:30 p.m. EST.

With racing canceled because of heavy rains on Feb. 25 and 26, Santa Anita has been granted permission by the California Horse Racing Board to run Thursday, which was not originally scheduled for live racing.

A pair of $72,000 allowance races will highlight Thursday’s program. Race 6, for fillies and mares bred or sired in California, has attracted a field of seven at six furlongs on the main track.

Thursday’s seventh race, for older horses at 1 1/4 miles over the turf course, attracted a field of nine.

Santa Anita will conduct a four-day week, with live racing offered through Sunday.

Three graded stakes are on the weekend calendar: the Beholder Mile (G1) and San Carlos (G2) on Saturday and the Santa Ana (G3) on Sunday.
