Santa Anita guarantees $2 million Rainbow Pick Six across eight days

In an unprecedented move, Santa Anita Park has announced that beginning this Saturday, Jan. 19, The Great Race Place will guarantee a 20-cent Single Ticket Rainbow Pick Six Jackpot of $2 million for eight consecutive racing days prior to a mandatory payout (pending CHRB approval) on Feb. 2.   

Entries were taken Wednesday for a 10-race card on Saturday, with special early first post time at 12 noon PT. The $2 million daily guaranteed Jackpot would be in effect until Feb. 2, providing there is no Single Ticket winner in the interim.   

Although there is no guaranteed jackpot at stake Friday, there is a hefty “live money” Jackpot carryover pool of $883,200 up for grabs..      

First post time on Friday is at 1 p.m. PT, and with an eight-race card on tap, the Rainbow Six will begin with Race 3, which has an assigned post time of 2:03 p.m.
