Santa Anita Park Recap – Sept 29 (6 out of 6)
Early-pressing types (3 route wire jobs) dominated on the main track. Patient runners best on turf.
Rafael Bejarano and Bob Baffert teamed up to win three Grade 1 races (Executiveprivilege, Power Broker, Game On Dude). Bejarano also booted home Byrama in the Unzip Me. Baffert also saddled opening race juvenile maiden winner Title Contender. Hat trick for Martin Garcia including Love and Pride in the G1 Zenyatta Stakes.
On the ticket front I tabbed five Primary (Executiveprivilege, Power Broker, Marketing Mix, Game On Dude, Byrama) winners and one Secondary (Love and Pride) winner. The rather chalky carryover sequence paid $452.80.
