Friday Santa Anita Recap: October 28 (Winning Double + Early Pick 3 Tickets)
Fast main track and firm turf course at Santa Anita Park. Three wire-to-wire winners on dirt (6f, 8,5f, 6f). The lone turf race was captured by a downhill stalker (rail at 30 feet).
Rafael Bejarano guided home three winners. Bob Baffert saddled two winners and Bejarano rode both.
Friday’s suggested Double/Early Pick 3 tickets from Santa Anita Park yielded two Primary winners (Midnight Candy, Vibe) and one Secondary winner (Unusual Fleet). The first $2 Daily Double (Races 1-2) returned $6.20 (had it three times), the next $2 Double (Races 2-3) paid $21.80, and the $1 Early Pick 3 (Races 1-3) brought back $15.30 (had it twice).
