Older
horses now fill the starting gate for this Saturday's $500,000 Colonial
Turf Cup. The "striking" horse in the field may be Augustin's Stable's
Smart Bid trained by Kentucky Derby winning trainer Graham Motion.
Motion is known better at Colonial for owning the All Along Stakes, a
race he's won four times. Motion will give a leg up to Edgar Prado who
has won the Virginia Derby three times and was a leading rider at
Colonial in the early years of the venue.
