Rocking Out Tops Gulfstream Allowance

Rick Dutrow's Rocking Out, an impressive late running debut sprint winner at Aqueduct in November, takes on six rivals in the third race at Gulfstream Park on Feb 13.

The promising son of Include, out of an Elusive Quality mare, defeated Crossbow in his aforementioned debut and that one is expected to be one of the favorites in the upcoming Hutcheson Stakes. He shows five local works including a six furlong bullet move on Feb 4.

The flat mile entry level allowance race also features local graduate Free Entry. He ran into Uncle Mo in his Saratoga debut last summer and returned to smartly break his maiden at Gulfstream for new trainer Chad Brown on Jan 23. His recently hot trainer excels with his graduates trying winners for the first time and he is a viable alternative to morning line favorite Rocking Out.

Cane Garden Bay rallied for the show in the six furlong Spectacular Bid Stakes here and should appreciate today's added real estate.

Settle For Medal disappointed in his six furlong return vs. this kind Jan 12. He hooked the likes of Uncle Mo, To Honor And Serve, and Boys At Tosconova as a juvenile.

Bellamy's Boss shows up in the Bill Mott barn after breaking his maiden in a wet fast route at Tampa Bay for William Phipps on Jan 19.

Rockin Heat placed in a pair of graded races at Woodbine last year and tries dirt in his 3yo bow.

Imperial Czar rounds out the field. He makes his 14th lifetime start and seems overmatched.
