Retama Park Extends Thoroughbred Meet

Retama Park received approval Sept. 21 from the Texas Racing Commission to add six nights of live racing to its 2011 Thoroughbred meeting.
The three additional weekends extend
the current meet through Breeder’s Cup Day Nov. 5. Retama Park requested
the extension as part of a plan to remove four Thursday nights from the
current schedule while adding six nights of weekend racing.
