Prate, a debut winner in December who hasn't raced since, required surgery for a leg injury and will be out indefinitely, the Daily Racing Form reports.

The Into Mischief colt is a Juddmonte Farms homebred trained by Brad Cox. He is still 50-1 in Kentucky Derby futures at William Hill but was dropped by Circa after going to 90-1.

His maiden win came in a six-furlong race at Fair Grounds on Dec. 19. The DRF report did not say when the injury occurred, but Prate's last reported work was Feb. 21, when he breezed four furlongs in 49 seconds.
