Pizza Bianca, who won the 2021 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf at Del Mar, is in foal to prominent sire Into Mischief and has been retired from racing, according to a report Sunday.

Owner Bobby Flay told Thoroughbred Daily News that he had made the 4-year-old daughter of Fastnet Rock part of his stable of international broodmares.

A debut winner at Saratoga when she was 2, Pizza Bianca was a two-time stakes victor for trainer Christopher Clément, adding the Hilltop Stakes on Preakness day last year at Pimlico. She also hit the board in two other Grade 1 races, finishing second in the 2021 Natalma at Woodbine and the 2022 Matriarch at Del Mar.

Pizza Bianca finished fifth in the Jenny Wiley (G1) last month at Keeneland in what was her final race. She is a Flay homebred out of his Galileo broodmare White Hot.

Flay said he would decide “in the coming months” whether to keep Pizza Bianca in Kentucky or ship her to Europe.
