Mishriff, who followed up his Saudi Cup win with a hard-fought battle in Sauturday's Grade 1 Dubai Sheema Classic, might have a busy summer but likely won't ship to Del Mar for the Breeders' Cup Classic.

RTE reported that trainer John Gosden said he need to have discussions with Prince Abdul Rahman Abdullah Faisal, but he believes the Make Believe Colt will point to the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (G1).

Gosden, who trains Mishriff with his son Thady, told the Irish national broadcaster that he believes the Del Mar course would not suit the 4-year-old colt.

"Having had a lot of success at Del Mar over the years I do know that straight very well and I always feel they should pick up the finishing wire and move it another 100 yards down," he told RTE.

"It’s a very short straight and a different style of racing. You’ve got to have real tactical speed and you ping off the bend. This is a horse who enjoys the length of the straight. I don’t think it’s going to suit him."

John and Thady Gosden also scored on Dubai World Cup day with Lord North in the Dubai Turf (G1).
