Glengarry, who missed by a head to Otto the Conqueror in a hard-fought edition of the Remington Springboard Mile, is likely to return to sprinting.

Trainer Doug Anderson has not committed to a road map for the colt's 3-year-old year, according to a report from Mary Rampellini of Daily Racing Form. He told DRF, "I think we're going to give him just a little break and probably go back to sprinting. I'm not sure if he's a true route horse or not."

Anderson also noted to DRF that there were sprint stakes he was considering, including some at Oaklawn.

The Springboard Mile marked Glengarry's first career defeat. The grey colt by Maximus Mischief routed fellow Iowa-breds in his first two starts at Prairie Meadows. He then proved proving his mettle against open company at Keeneland, prompting the pace and winning by a half length over Normandy Hero in the Bowman Mill. His career record currently stands at 4: 3-1-0, with $237,501 in earnings.
