Trainer Todd Pletcher confirmed the plans for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner, which were reported earlier by Bill Finley of Thoroughbred Daily News.

Pletcher told TDN that he likes the timing of the March 4 Fountain of Youth, which would be Forte's first start since his 1 1/2-length win over Cave Rock in the Breeders' Cup.

Kentucky Derby pedigrees: Should Forte be a top choice?

After the Fountain of Youth, Pletcher said, Forte could point to either the Blue Grass (G1) at Keeneland or the Florida Derby (G1) at Gulfstream.

Two of Forte's five wins, and his last two starts, have come at Keeneland. Before the Breeders' Cup, he won the track's Breeders' Futurity (G1) by a neck over Loggins after a stretch duel.

Forte's only loss was a fourth-place finish in the Sanford (G3) in his second start. He came back to win the Hopeful (G1) in his next start.

The Violence colt has earned $1,595,150.
