Undefeated Disco Time will sit out Saturday's Grade 2 Risen Star at Fair Grounds because of "a little setback," trainer Brad Cox told Daily Racing Form.

The Juddmonte homebred by Not This Time hasn't worked since winning the Lecomte (G3) on Jan. 18, though Cox told DRF he is still in training.

Disco Time is fifth on the Kentucky Derby 2025 leaderboard, with 20 points from that Lecomte win. He was the co-fourth choice in Las Vegas futures this week at 18-1.

Cox told DRF that Disco Time likely will make his next start in the Louisiana Derby (G2), Arkansas Derby (G1) or Blue Grass (G1).

Disco Time won his debut at Churchill Downs in November and followed that with an optional-claiming allowance win at the same track. He made his 2025 debut in the Lecomte, where he rallied from 10th place to win by a neck over Built.
