Ain't Easy is out of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies, and her rider quickly found a new mount for the race.

The Daily Racing Form reported that trainer Phil D'Amato decided to pull her out of the race because he was not satisfied with Ain't Easy's jog on Monday.

The Into Mischief filly is 2-for-2, with a win in the Chandelier Stakes (G2) last out.

Her withdrawal meant that rider Joel Rosario was available, and Steve Asmussen quickly lined him up to ride Echo Zulu, according to the DRF report. Echo Zulu, the early favorite for the race at 1-1 in Bovada futures odds, was scheduled to be ridden by regular rider Ricardo Santana Jr., but Asmussen told DRF that he switched to Rosario because of his experience at Del Mar.

Also on Monday, Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners said that Quick Suzy would not run in the Juvenile Turf Sprint after spiking a fever in the wak=e of her trip from Ireland.

And Mind Control is out of the Dirt Mile.

It is the third consecutive year that issues kept the son of Stay Thirsty from running in the Breeders’ Cup, according to a news release from the organization.

“He spiked a temperature and his blood count is not right,” Pletcher in the release. “We had no choice but to start him on some treatment and not enter."
