Remington Park canceled the last five races on the nine-race card Thursday night after a severe thunderstorm moved into the Oklahoma City area just after race four had been completed. After a 30-minute delay, the decision was made to cancel the remainder of the races.

The storm brought pouring rain and lightning to Remington Park as the field awaited being saddled for the fifth race. The storm also included high winds and some hail.

As far as multi-race wagers that were not completed, the Pick 3 that would have ended in the fifth race paid $31.55 on 1-7-all. The Pick 4 that would have ended in the fifth race paid $87.35 to 7-1-7-all. The Pick 5 that was set to end in race 5 paid $585.95 to 4-7-1-7-all.

There was a Pick 3 that was set to end in race six that paid $5.05 on 7-all-all.

The Pick 4 that started in race four was refunded. Per Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission rule, any multi-race wager that has three or more races canceled gets refunded.

Remington Park racing is scheduled to resume Friday and Saturday, Oct. 24 & 25, with the first race nightly at 7pm EDT.
