HRN picks
This week's Super Screener is looking beyond Saturday's stakes and highlights Race 5 at Del Mar, where favored Steak Fries looks vulnerable.
"The Super Screener top win pick will be Timty for trainer Doug O'Neill," Super Screener creator Mike Shutty says. "This gelding is bred to excel on turf, and his four starts on dirt have come against much tougher competition. The blinkers go back on to help focus, and his work two back was quite handy and signals readiness here."

Matt Shifman's Red Smith picks believe Master Piece and Integration are strong contenders but also think Rebel Red is an interesting newcomer.
Ed DeRosa is looking at a different turf stake taking place this Saturday in his River City fair odds, and he thinks Cash Equity will get the right trip in a wide-open race at Churchill.
DeRosa also has Maple Leaf fair odds, and he's leaning on the Kevin Attard-trained pair of Caitlinhergrtness and Fashionably Fab in the synthetic-track event at Woodbine.
