Really Mr Greely Back in Preferred Sprint

It’s back to the drawing board for Really Mr Greely when the son of Horse Greeley runs in Monday’s $75,000 San Pedro Stakes for 3-year-olds at six furlongs.

The Kentucky-bred colt owned by Karl Watson, Mike Pegram and Paul Weitman weakened to finish ninth by 16 ½ lengths after pressing the pace in the Grade I CashCall Futurity at 1 1/16 miles last Dec. 15.

“He didn’t like going long, so this looks like a good spot for him,” trainer Bob Baffert said. “He’s doing well; he’s a sprinter.”
