Real Solution Sold to Calumet Farm

Ramsey Farm announced today that Multiple Grade 1-winning Millionaire Real Solution, by Champion Sire Kitten’s Joy, has been sold to Calumet Farm where he will take up stud residence.

Real Solution started his career in Italy where he broke his maiden at first asking as a two year old for Trainer Gianluca Bietolini. He won his first three starts including a victory in the Premio Botticelli. Returning to the US for Trainer Chad Brown, Real Solution won or placed in five Grade 1 races. At 4 he won the $1,000,000 Grade 1 Arlington Million. At 5 he won the $1,000,000 Grade 1 Knob Creek Manhattan Stakes at Belmont. In addition, he placed in the Grade 1 Woodford Reserve, the Grade 1 Manhattan Handicap, the Grade 1 Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Invitational Stakes, and the Grade 1 Man o’ War Stakes. Real Solution retired with a record of five wins, two seconds and two thirds from 15 career starts amassing earnings of $1,374,175. 

Real Solution stood his first year at stud at Ramsey Farm for a fee of $12,500.
