Trainer Jeffery Scott Raley, already under suspension in Kentucky for one year, has had two years added to his suspension after two horses he trains ran at Churchill Downs under the name of another trainer.
According to a July 4 ruling from Churchill Downs stewards, the horse Spontaneous Diva, who ran in the seventh race on May 9, and Forest Lord, who competed in the May 13 ninth race, were under the care of Raley at the High Point Training Center, even though he was suspended. Both horses were entered in the name of trainer Joseph C. Landry.
