Rainier Ice returned to action Friday with an impressive 6 ¾ -length victory in the $13,300 American Horse Transportation Purse for 3-year-olds at Emerald Downs.
With Gallyn Mitchell aboard, Rainier Ice powered to the lead inside into the stretch and drew off to win with complete authority in 1:09.30 for six furlongs on a fast track. Tom Wenzel is the trainer for owners Northwest Farms and C & M Racing.
