Raging Torrent holds top spot on the National Thoroughbred Racing Association's top Thoroughbred poll.
The 4-year-old son of Maximus Mischief is on a three-race win streak taking the Grade 1 Metropolitan Handicap at Saratoga last time out. Before that he captured both the Godolphin Mile (G2) at Meydan and Malibu (G1) at Santa Anita.
Journalism made the biggest move this week, jumping to no. 6 from no. 9 after placing second most recently in the Belmont Stakes.
