After bypassing a shot at a graded-stakes placing on Sunday, Miss Radiance shows up as the 8-to-5 favorite in Thursday’s featured allowance optional claiming event for older females running 1 1/16-miles on the main track.
“She’s a good filly. I thought we’d have a chance (in the La Canada), but after Saturday when the horses on the lead were running so good I didn’t feel we had as good a shot so we decided to wait and run today,”trainer Mike Puype told me this morning from his Barn 48.
