It was an overcast, blustery cold morning at Churchill Downs Nov. 5 on the first day of the two-day Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships.
In addition to all the also-eligibles in the Juvenile Fillies Turf (gr. IT) and Sentient Jet Filly & Mare Sprint (gr. IT), the only scratch on the Friday card was the previously announced defection of Indian Gracey from the Grey Goose Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I) due to a sore right front foot.
