Queen Drama Faces Jacks or Better Pair

Harold Queen’s homebred filly Queen Drama, a half-sister to the stable’s 2010 Eclipse champion sprinter Big Drama, finished second to Jacks or Better’s Redbud Road in the $75,000 Desert Vixen Division of the FSS, but reversed that decision last out with a nose victory in the $125,000 Susan’s Girl going seven furlongs on Aug. 27. Daniel Centeno has the mount.

Luis Saez has ridden Redbud Road in all of her five career starts for Gold with three victories and two seconds and will be back in the saddle for the My Dear Girl. Luis Jurado rides Awesome Belle, a troubled third last out in the Susan’s Girl. Both are daughters of Jacks or Better-raced stallion Awesome of Course, also sire of Awesome Feather.

Completing the field for the My Dear Girl are Luis Duco Stable’s Macanuda, Antonio Gallardo; Teresa and David Palmer’s Adela’s Song, Juan Leyva; Ian Parsard’s Dream Point, Ruben Silvera; Gilbert Campbell’s The Winner Is, Ameth Gonzalez; and Tracy Pinchin’s Sinister Brew, Orlando Bocachica.
