Prospect watch: Early Voting’s half-sister will debut Sunday
Horse Racing Nation's Prospect Watch scans all upcoming entries for starters early in their careers who have graded stakes-winning dams of siblings or who sold for more than $500,000 at their most recent auction.
A total of 52 runners that meet these criteria were entered in races the first week of 2024.
Some highlights include the following first-time starters:
Friday, Gulfstream Park race 4, Fuji Fire, a 3-year-old colt who is a full sibling to Firenze Fire, debuts in a maiden claimer.
Sunday, Gulfstream Park race 10, El Megeeth, a 3-year-old filly who is a half-sister to Preakness Stakes winner Early Voting makes her debut.
