Prospect Watch: 61 entries with high-profile pedigrees
Horse Racing Nation's Prospect Watch scans all upcoming entries for starters early in their careers whose dams or siblings are graded-stakes winners or who sold for more than $500,000 at their most recent auction.
Thursday's fifth race at Gulfstream Park, which is a five-furlong maiden special weight turf sprint, has several 3-year-old-fillies on our list, including two fillies debuting for trainer Todd Pletcher. The first is Pretty Liam, a half-sister to Grade 3 winner Danse Macabre and the other is New Spice, a full sibling to Grade 1 winner Lexitonian. Also in the race is Justified Strategy, a sibling to Grade 3 winner Souper Escape for trainer John Servis.
Other highlights include the following first-time starters:
Thursday, Bad Betty, a half-sibling to Grade 1 winner Unbridled Command debuts in the fifth race at the Fair Grounds, a maiden claimer.
Saturday, in Aqueduct race 1, Tuscan Sky, a 3-year-old half brother to Grade 2-winning turf sprinter Private Creed, debuts for trainer Todd Pletcher.
Wednesday, Turfway Park race 5, Moon Fleet, a half-brother to 2021 Wood Memorial (G2) winner Bourbonic, debuts for trainer Doug O'Neill.

Thursday in Turfway Park race 4, Decatur Street, a half-brother to Grade 2 winner Caramel Swirl, makes his second start in a maiden claimer for trainer Eoin Harty.
Also next Wednesday in Turfway Park race 5, Silk makes her second lifetime start for trainer Brad Cox. Silk is a half-brother to Grade 1 winner Taris.
