Prospect Watch: Tapit Trice's younger sister is ready to go
Horse Racing Nation’s Prospect Watch scans all upcoming entries for starters early in their careers who sold for more than $500,000 at their most recent auction or whose dams or siblings are graded-stakes winners.
This week's Prospect Watch focuses on 64 runners who meet the criteria entered in races through Wednesday. Among the highlights:
First-time starters
Saturday, Keeneland race 4, half-brother to Instilled Regard
Fracture, a 3-year-old colt by Uncle Mo and a half-sibling to Instilled Regard, is set to debut on Saturday in a maiden special weight dirt sprint for trainer Daniel Leitch and owner-breeder KatieRich Farms. Instilled Regard ran fourth behind Justify in the 2018 Kentucky Derby and later won the Grade 1 Manhattan as well as Grade 2s in the Fort Marcy and Fort Lauderdale.
Saturday, Keeneland race 5, half-sister to Shirl's Speight
Ready for Shirl, a 3-year-old homebred filly by More Than Ready and a half-sibling to Shirl's Speight (Speightstown) is set to debut in a maiden special turf route for trainer Roger Attfield and owner Charles Fipke.
Sunday, Gulfstream Park race 3, full sister to Tapit Trice
Danzit, a 3-year-old filly by Tapit and a full sister to Tapit Trice, is set to debut on Sunday in a maiden special weight on the main track for trainer Todd Pletcher and owner-breeder Whisper Hill Farm. Paco Lopez has the mount.

Thursday, Keeneland race 1, half-brother to White Abarrio
Cage Match, a 4-year-old half-brother to White Abarrio, looks to improve on his second-place debut at Aqueduct on March 9 for trainer Rick Dutrow. He is listed at 3-1 with Irad Ortiz Jr. named to ride.
Saturday, Keeneland race 1, half-sister to Shirl's Speight
De La Cruz, a 3-year-old half-brother to Kentucky Oaks winner Proud Spell, makes his second start for trainer Christophe Clement. Sent off at 16-1 in his debut routing on the Gulfstream turf, the Divisidero gelding ran eighth. He's back in a maiden special route on the grass.
Third-time starters
Wednesday, Keeneland race 8, Flightline's brother Olivier
Olivier, a 4-year-old brother to Flightline, drops into a $100,000 maiden-claiming race after finishing sixth in both of his first two starts. Trained by Rodolphe Brisset and owned by WinStar Farm, the Tapit colt is set to break on the outside in a field of eight in Wednesday's eighth race.
