Horse Racing Nation’s Prospect Watch scans all upcoming entries for starters early in their careers who sold for more than $500,000 at their most recent auction or whose dams or siblings are graded-stakes winners.

Among this week's runners who meet the Prospect Watch criteria are these spotlight maidens:

Friday

Churchill Downs race 4
, Lady Aurelia's second foal

Aurelia's Mischief,
the second foal out of Grade 1 winner Lady Aurelia, debuts for trainer Brad Cox going five furlongs on the main track. Lady Aurelia, a Scat Daddy filly trained by Wesley Ward, is now 10. In 2016, she won her debut at Keeneland before a dominating performance in the Queen Mary Stakes (G2) at Royal Ascot. She went on to win the Prix Morny (G1) at Deauville and the 2017 King's Stand (G1) at Royal Ascot.

Her daughter Aurelia's Mischief is by Into Mischief. Her first foal, American Rascal, trained by Steve Asmussen, won his debut at Keeneland last April, but has only one win in five subsequent starts, the 2023 Zia Park Juvenile. American Rascal is by Curlin.

In the same race, Anakarina, a 2-year-old filly by Vekoma and a half-sibling to Grade 2 winner Hoist the Gold, makes her second start for trainer Dallas Stewart. She finished fifth in her debut, a fivefurlong maiden special weight in the slop at Churchill Downs on May 17.

Thursday

Horseshoe Indianapolis race 8, half-sibling to New Year's Day, Mohaymen and Enforceable

Admiral Bouchard,
a 4-year-old son of Quality Road and a half-sibling to 2013 Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) winner New Year's Day (by Street Cry), Grade 2 winner Mohaymen (Tapit) and Grade 3 winner Enforceable (Tapit), debuts for trainer Brad Cox going 1 1/16th miles on the main track Thursday at Horseshoe Indianapolis.

Recent Prospect Watch debut winners

Audacious
, a $700,000 yearling purchase by Into Mischief and trained by Todd Pletcher, won her debut Thursday at Saratoga for owner Bass Stables. Audacious is out of the Distorted Humor mare Veracity.

Illuminaire, a 3-year-old colt by City of Light, won his maiden special debut in Friday's opener at Saratoga for trainer Todd Pletcher. He cost Centennial Farm $500,000 at the 2022 Keeneland September yearling sale.

Mixologist, a 3-year-old filly by Frosted and a half-sibling to G2 winner Princess Grace, won her career debut going one mile on turf Sunday at Churchill Downs. Trainer Brad Cox conditions her for owner LNJ Foxwoods.
