Half-brother to Grade 3 winner India Mantuana

In Fair Grounds Race 8, Rachael's Wagon makes his career debut in a maiden special weight at 6 furlongs on the main track. This 2-year-old colt by Klimt is out of Speed Wagon and is a half-brother to Grade 3 winner India Mantuana ($231K). Trained by Kenny McPeek, who excels with debut runners, he'll be ridden by Ben Curtis from post 7. His morning line odds of 20-1 suggest he might need this first start, but his female family has shown talent. He was bred by Paul Knapper and races for owner Mark Stell.

At Turfway Park Race 1, Frances Stanley makes her debut in a maiden claiming race at 6 furlongs on synthetic. This daughter of Munnings is out of Grade 2 winner Hawksmoor, who earned over $1.16M in her career. Wesley Ward, known for his success with first-time starters, trains for Lael Stables. Gerardo Corrales will ride from post 7 at morning line odds of 7-2. She was bred by her owners, Mr. & Mrs. M. Roy Jackson of Lael Stables.
