PRESVIS (Luca Cumani/ Ryan Moore) made it third time lucky when he landed the Dubai Duty Free at Meydan on Saturday.
Second to Gladiatorus at Nad Al Sheba two years ago and 11th of 16 in the Duty Free last year, Presvis made amends in thrilling fashion under Moore, who was at his brilliant best on the seven-year-old.
The pair, in customary fashion, were slowly away, but Moore began to get busy in the straight, spying the gaps with clinical precision.
Once they hit the front, Presvis and Moore were challenged by the Mike de Kock-trained River Jetez, although he was unable to get on top under Bernard Fayd'herbe.
"Fantastic" was how Cumani, who trains Presvis for Leonidas Marinopoulos, described the race.
