Kentucky Derby winner Mage continued to hold as favorite into Saturday mornings Preakness win wagering. He was 2-1 as of 10:00 a.m. EDT Saturday. National Treasure was just behind at 3-1, while Blazing Sevens sat next at 9-2.

Mage was the 4-5 favorite on the revised morning line released after First Mission scratched Friday morning. Mage is the only last-out graded winner in the Preakness field.

National Treasure and Blazing Sevens were expected to be the next shortest prices. National Treasure makes his first start since returning to Bob Baffert. Blazing Sevens had enough points to make the Derby, but Chad Brown rerouted him to Baltimore.

As of 10:00 a.m. EDT Saturday, there was $1,471,577 in the win pool.

The Preakness is race 13 of 14 on Saturday's card at Pimlico with post time scheduled for 7:01 p.m. EDT. The National Weather Service forecast called for a high near 75 degrees on Saturday with a 40 percent chance of rain, mainly after 2 p.m. EDT.
